Through my photos, I explore the heartache, longing, and resilience tied to this formative experience. Reflecting on that time, I often find myself facing fragmented memories, as if my mind is shielding itself from the pain.
The phrase "at arm's length" captures the essence of maintaining emotional distance from both the person and the memories of them, making them feel unapproachable and distant.
